This is a consultative advisor role built around education, trust, and long-term relationships.
What You’ll Learn to Do (Training Provided)
As an Exterior Advisor, you will be trained to:
- Meet with clients at scheduled appointments (we set them for you)
- Ask thoughtful questions to understand short-term vs. long-term goals
- Inspect properties safely and professionally
- Use technology and visuals to clearly explain options
- Guide conversations around repairs and replacements
- Confidently discuss budget, timing, financing, and insurance options
- Recommend solutions based on what’s truly best for the client — not just what they initially ask for
- Handle both small projects and large renovations with the same level of care
We don’t expect you to know these things on day one.
We do expect you to be willing to learn, grow, and apply coaching.
Relationship & Community Focus
While Clark Brothers provides the majority of leads, our most successful Advisors:
- Build long-term relationships with existing clients
- Stay involved in their communities
- Become the go-to resource for exterior needs over time
- Earn repeat business and referrals by treating every project — big or small — with integrity
Because we offer multiple exterior services, many clients complete work in phases. Helping a client with a small repair today often leads to larger projects and referrals down the road.
Sales becomes more enjoyable — and more successful — when clients know, trust, and refer you.

- Avoiding tough conversations about money does not help clients
- Listening is important, but advising is essential
- Recommending a repair when replacement is needed is not good service
- The right recommendation today builds trust for tomorrow
You will never be expected to oversell or pressure clients.
You will be expected to help clients understand all of their options so they can make informed decisions.
Compensation & Benefits
- $50,000–$75,000 base salary (W-2)
- Commission paid on profit (uncapped)
- Company vehicle and gas card
